The NLTRA is an association of related and coordinated services provided to our members and the community at large. These services include operation of the North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce and the Tahoe North Visitors and Convention Bureau. The NLTRA has an agreement for services with Placer County. Through this agreement, the NLTRA receives Placer County Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) funds to provide “a full spectrum of management activities for tourism marketing and visitor services for businesses of the North Lake Tahoe area.”

The North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce has been serving its members and the greater North Lake Tahoe region for more than 50 years. Our mission is “to take specific actions to help improve the opportunity for local businesses to achieve and sustain success; to promote business, tourism, and the economic, cultural and civic welfare of the greater North Lake Tahoe community.” Specific actions in support of this mission are detailed in our adopted Chamber Business Plan.
